The Saint John Stamp Club is trying to convince Canada Post to put out a new stamp. They are looking to honor the man known as the Fighting Fisherman......Yvonne Durelle. Along with handing around a petition to sign, they already have a glowing endorsement from a man who knew him well, former Premier Frank McKenna.
McKenna says if Durelle could be immortalized on a stamp, that would be great for his family and the Province. If your interested in adding your name to the petition, you can drop by Loyalist City Coin on Germain Street and do so.
