K-Park Elementary School Upgrades Get Support

2009-06-03

The fight to have K-Park Elementary approved for renovation work has a new voice. The Town will send a letter to the Education Minister asking for the project to improve bathrooms, handicap access and ventilation in the building to be approved as soon as possible. Janice McPherson speaks on behalf of the committee and tells CHSJ News, they are also working with Quispamsis MLA Mary Schryer to secure funding.

McPherson says the top priority on the District Six to do list is a new elementary school for Quispamsis but in order to get the funding for that project, the K-Park committee is hopeful they will get funding for their proposal first.
