A handful of Quispamsis residents are voicing their concerns over a proposed youth home for at risk teenagers in the area.The proposed site is 186 Vincent Road, and neighbour Donna Higgins tells CHSJ News, she is concerned because it is not being clarified what type of youths are going to be living in the house.
Higgins says she has contacted Moncton Youth Residences who will be running the program and says she cannot get a straight answer. Higgins says she is suspicious about the youth home because in the proposal it says the teenagers will require 24-7 supervision, and that neighbours would be contacted regarding the program and to air any concerns.The proposal was passed on June 9th, and Higgins says not a single neighbour has been contacted about the proposed site.
