Saint John Transit's new operations center on McDonald Street East is officially open for business.
Plenty of politicians from all three levels of government were on hand as were staff to celebrate their new home which comes in at over $23 million dollars.
The new facility will hold close to 70 of the 40-foot limo's and features many energy efficient features including the heating system.
Construction of the facility began in March of last year and the office space is still a work in progress.
Chair of the Transit Commission and City Councilor Chris Titus says there are more announcements coming for the building in the coming weeks.
