The Liberals and Conservatives are being accused of being reckless with all their campaign promises which involve spending money many people don't think the province has.

The Liberal candidate in Fundy River Valley Jack Keir tells CHSJ News more people will have to move to the province and the private sector will have to step up to the plate and start investing more to create jobs.

The latest unemployment numbers don't bode well with the provincial rate rising from 9 to 9.6 per cent and joblessness in Saint John rising to 8.2 per cent last month from 7.7 per cent in July.
