District 6 is launching some new programs and initiatives as they kick off the school year.
Superintendent Zoe Watson says the District Education Council has identified bullying as a topic that needs to be looked into.
Watson says also new this year is the entry level French Immersion program for grade 3 students, which teachers are getting special instruction for.
