Animal Control Officer Wants Dogs Out Of Province

Something new has cropped up concerning the two dogs that were seized in Quispamsis after a complaint from an elderly woman that one of the animals was aggressive.

The owner of the dogs, Deborah Quennville-Clairmont tells CHSJ News the town's animal control officer phoned her breeder in Ontario and offered not to euthanise the animals if she would take them back and out of the province.

She doesn't plan to agree to any such thing unless it turns out to be the only way the dogs can be saved.

Court action on the seizure won't be heard for another 4 months or so.
