Tax Cuts Unlikely













You're not likely going to see any tax cuts from the new Conservative government in the province.

That prediction coming from Chief Economist David Chaundy of the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council.

He calls the budget deficit a huge challenge to overcome and tells CHSJ News the skyrocketing cost of healthcare has to be brought under control.

Alward says there is no way the H-S-T will be raised in order to bring the government more revenue.
