Trevor Holder Speaks Out On Harbour Bridge Battle

As he continues to watch negotiations closely, the Conservative MLA for Saint John Portland is confident a deal or the Harbour Bridge isn't far off.

Trevor Holder tells CHSJ News, there are three issues his party wants to see taken care of.......the tolls removed, the Province to take over the bridge and a funding agreement in place for the refurbishment.

The latest from Minister Keith Ashfield is he is waiting to hear back from the Province and Premier Graham says the onus is now on Ottawa to make the next move.

Culture Fest at Rockwood park

Imagine if you can, seeing, hearing and tasting several places around the world and not having to spend a dime on airfare?
That is the scenario behind Saint John 225 Culture Fest being held in Rockwood Park today.

There will be music, food and fun for the children.
Spokes-person Lisa Hrabluk tells CHSJ News, there is a treasure hunt with a chance to win one of 400 prizes.

Hrabluk says multi-culturism is all about diet and dance and there will be plenty of both until six o'clock tonight.

Shuttle service is available from the old Downey's parking lot on Crown Street and there is parking at Rockwood Park on Lake Drive South.
