Man Killed By Fallen Tree













A 40-year-old man from the Bathurst area is dead. 

RCMP says Stacy James Ellis died yesterday around 5:30 in the evening while attempting to clear an ATV trail of a fallen tree. 

The tree managed to fall on him and the victim was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

Also, more than a dozen cottages broken into in the Restigouche area.

RCMP says the break-ins occurred within the past week and are asking for the public's help.

More Co-Operation Needed













The Saint John Board of Trade wants to see more co-operation between the Atlantic Premiers.

President Imelda Gilman tells CHSJ News what's good for one province is good for the other.

Gilman says she fully supports the the Atlantic Provinces Chambers of Commerce, which has put a renewed focus on promoting regional co-operation.

Q-Plex ornament for sale








The town of Quispamsis is looking to bring some holiday cheer to everyone.

As part of their continuing fund-raising efforts for the Q-Plex, they're selling pewter ornaments of the sports complex.

Quispamsis Mayor Murray Driscoll tells CHSJ News it would make a great gift.

The ornaments are available at Quispamsis Town Hall.
