Safety Stops Being Held At Railroad Crossings

NB Southern Railway doing its part to prevent injury and death at railroad crossings -- the company is doing safety blitzes at various crossings in the city as part of National Rail Safety week.

NB Southern Railway spokesperson Lorrie Johnston tells CHSJ News safety campaigns do work as injuries and deaths have dropped by as much as 80 percent over the past 30 years.

However, she says there are still people trying to beat trains or stop at railroad tracks.
