A Major Traffic Disruption On East Side

A big discovery along Rothesay Avenue for local history buffs.......Construction workers coming across old street car lines.

For the next two weeks the eastbound lanes on Rothesay Avenue from the Marco Polo Bridge to Reserve Street will be closed to allow for their removal. 

Traffic will be detoured to Thorne Avenue to Russell Street. A reminder, Thorne Avenue, itself, is also reduced to one lane in both directions.

The city is calling this a significant traffic disruption and you're being advised to avoid the area if at all possible.
