Alward Tories Change Their Tune On Studies

The Province has had a change of heart.    They will release a public health report in its entirety on the shale gas industry.

Environment Minister Bruce Fitch says the report by Doctor Eilish Cleary, the chief medical officer of health, will be released along with a report by University of Moncton biologist Louis LaPierre, who gathered input on proposed shale gas regulations.

Fitch says they have concluded there is no trouble to release both reports and they will do it on October 15th.

Cleary examined the potential health impacts of the shale gas industry.

Before today, the government had only committed to releasing some of her report.
