46 year old Antonio Roussel was found unresponsive in his cell last night and Correctional officers immediately performed CPR but were unable to revive him.
Roussel was serving a two and a half year sentence for various offences.
The police and coroner have been notified and Correctional Service Canada will review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
