Man Charged With Stolen Truck & Liquor

A 40-year-old man from Lepreau has been arrested in Fredericton in connection with the theft of a truck and liquor.

Tuesday night District 1 RCMP got a call about liquor being stolen from the agency store at the Lepreau Petro-Canada, but weren't able to catch anyone. This morning, RCMP learned a commercial truck stolen from the Lepreau area was last seen by the store at about the same time as the theft.

The man is being held on charges of possession of property obtained by crime, failure to comply with court orders, and other offenses are being considered.
