Bail Hearing Scheduled For Credit Card Scammers

Two Toronto men who used fake credit cards at stores in the province will be appearing in court tomorrow for their bail hearing.

RCMP say they stopped their vehicle after they allegedly tried to buy gift cards with their counterfeit credit cards. Police seized the fake cards, along with gift cards and different kinds of electronic equipment.

Both Li Yi, who is 31-years-old, and Pyuan Guan, who is 21-years-old, were arrested and charged with fraud. They're scheduled to appear at Moncton Provincial Court at 9:30 Monday morning.

Yi and Guan may have also used the counterfeit credit cards at stores in Nova Scotia.
