Sussex RCMP getting the call around 1am today to the two-storey home. A 32 year old man who was in the home escaped by jumping out of a 2nd floor window. While he escaped the fire, he suffered serious injuries in the fall and was taken to the Regional.
Another 4 people, 3 women and 1 man, were also in the home at the time. They were able to escape, but one man suffered smoke inhalation and was also taken to hospital. The Fire Marshall is looking into what caused the blaze.
