No Charges In East Side Crash That Snapped Pole

No criminal charges are being laid in the case of a truck crashing into a utility pole on Loch Lomond Road, snapping it in two.

That's according to City Police, who say the driver, who was brought to hospital after the vehicle went into a ditch, is suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was blocked, and police were on scene for close to an hour. It was dark in the homes of 1800 NB Power customers, as power outages swept through Saint John and Willow Grove. It's since been restored.
