UPDATE: CIBC on King Hit By Robber

Another brazen daylight robbery. This time in the Uptown.
It happened just after 10:00 at the C-I-B-C on King Street at Germain.

A man, between 30 and 40 years of age, handed a note to a teller and ran off with some cash. Police say he did not have a weapon.

They describe him as being 5’4 to 5’6 , with a slim build, wearing beige pants, possibly jogging type pants, a dark grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and stubble facial hair.

One witness telling CHSJ News the man was very short and smiling as walked away holding an aluminum bag.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact City Police at 648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
