Town council voting in support of the motion made by Mayor Bill Bishop, who tells CHSJ News he hopes it prompts the provincial government to keep moving forward with exploration. He says the province's finances are in a sad state and natural resources are the wealth of New Brunswick.
Saint John Council voted to support the exploration of natural gas in the province back in early December.
